I've finished the B2 level in Spanish in Lingoda
The lessons are very well-done and I like having instructors and other students from all parts of the world. It's convenient to be able to plan the times and days in advance and to have available the class material beforehand to practice. I have finished all the B2 level classes and feel like I am a legitmate B2 speaker, but I also practice alot outside of class and also take one-on-one conversation classes twice a week. With Lingoda, depending on the class size, you do get speaking time, but it's mostly short responses and if you study before class your answers can be "rehearsed". I felt like Lingoda gave me everything except extended spontaneous conversations. The instructors are all good quality and reliable and the classes are comfortable. There is more the spanish from Spain and I'm learning Mexican spanish, so not all the material is used by spanish speakers where I live. But without Lingoda I would not be where I am, I've tried other spanish language schools, but none are at the level of Lingoda. You still need to put in the work tho, the more effort and practice that you put in the quicker you'll learn a language.

Time zone makes it tricky
All of the teachers are great. Sometimes some of the teachers have internet issues which makes hearing them challenging. Several of the classes I want to take aren’t offered at a time that works for my time zone. That will become an issue as I move forward and am unable to access the classes in order to progress. It would be great if the system could make sure each class is offered during each quadrant of the 24 hour day.

A flexible and affordable method for language acquisition. I like that I can choose the times when I’m available for class. The small class sizes are also a bonus. Because I don’t live in a francophone country or region, this is an excellent way to consistently improve my skills without leaving home. For the most part, the teachers have been excellent, the material helpful and relevant and the progress I’m making measurable.

Intro to Italian
So far I've completed the A.1.1 level of Italian. Love the flexibility that I have with scheduling. Most classes I've had have been one on one with the instructor. Some instructors are very passionate about the teaching. Most lessons have opportunities to speak in the language, but the best ones are when the instructor takes the slides and gives additional scenarios. Haven't had major issues with connections or audio during the lessons.
